The Neoperl Holding AG , headquartered in Reinach is an internationally active Swiss group of companies, products for the building construction industry develops, produces, and markets and trade. These shape the water jet, regulate the flow rate and protect the drinking water from contamination. The family-owned Neoperl Group employs 1,800 people.
history
The company was founded in Reinach in 1959 under the name Hans Denzler & Co. (now Neoperl AG). Two years later, Dieter Wildfang GmbH (now Neoperl GmbH) was founded in Müllheim, Baden . The company's founders relied on outsourcing by leaving production to specialized suppliers and limiting themselves to the assembly of the products. The Neoperl Group also concentrated on the development, surface treatment and global marketing of its products.
Over the years, a wide range of sanitary products has been built up, which today includes aerators, flow regulators, backflow preventer, diverter, kitchen showers, connection and shower hoses, outlet pipes and various accessories. The first noise-reduced aerator was developed in the 1970s. In the 1980s the Neoperl Group introduced long-life technology and in the 1990s the world's first aerator without metal screens. From the mid-1980s, international expansion was driven forward, including through various acquisitions and the establishment of its own subsidiaries. Today these are organized under the umbrella of Neoperl Holding.
In 2001/2002 a new research and development center was opened in Müllheim. In the years that followed, innovations such as aerators without a mouthpiece or rectangular aerators (2008) were developed there. These latest products allow a great deal of creative freedom in the design of the fitting. In addition to these design and functional aspects, the research and development team works in particular on the development of water-saving products. Their use demonstrably saves energy for water treatment and makes a contribution to environmental and climate protection. In 2010 two employees received a nomination for the European Inventor Award 2010 of the European Patent Organization (EPO) for their development work in connection with jet regulators , but were not selected as winners.
