The Nera ( Russian Не́ра ; Yakut Ньара ) is a right tributary of the Indigirka in the Sakha Republic in eastern Siberia .

The Nera arises at the confluence of the Deljankir (right) and Khujach (left) rivers on the border with Magadan Oblast . It flows through the Nera highlands (Нерское плоскогорье) in a north-easterly direction and flows after 196 km at Ust-Nera on the right into the upper reaches of the Indigirka. The Nera drains an area of ​​24,500 km². Its mean discharge (MQ) 65 km above the mouth is 119 m³ / s. The Nera usually has floods from May to August . The river is frozen between December and April. The M56 road from Ust-Nera to Magadan runs along the river .
