Nestelberg is the northernmost cadastral community of Ilz in the Hartberg-Fürstenfeld district in Styria .
geography
Nestelberg is located in the Ilztal in Styria.
The place was first mentioned in 1342 as Nestelpach. From 1351 the place was owned by the Riegersburg rule . The cadastral community Nestelberg belonged to the community Nestelbach since 1849. The communities Hochenegg with Hofing and Eichberg near Hartmannsdorf were only united in 1968 and Mutzenfeld in 1969 with Nestelbach under the name Nestelbach im Ilztal . On January 1, 2015, the community was merged with Ilz.
