Geography and transport links
The place is located southeast of the core town Lüdersburg in the Lower Saxony Elbe Valley Biosphere Reserve . The state road L 219 runs north. The Neetze , a tributary of the Ilmenau , flows 2.5 km to the south and the Elbe 6 km to the north. About 2.5 km to the north is the elongated Ahrenschulter Lake , a broadening of the Bruchwetter .
