Neu Falkenhagen is a district of the town of Waren (Müritz) in the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .
geography
Neu Falkenhagen is four kilometers north of the old town of Waren (Müritz). In the east lies the rift of the city moat, which is designated as a nature reserve Ostufer Tiefwaren - Falkenhäger Bruch .
A road connects the place south to Waren and north to Alt Falkenhagen or to Landesstrasse 202, which connects Waren with Malchin . The Elbe-Müritz circular route runs along it .
The Waren – Malchin railway runs 600 meters west of the village .
Attractions
On the western edge of the village is the listed Neu Falkenhagen manor house, a town estate - originally owned by the municipality - from 1891, which has been privately owned since 2004.
Directly south of the village there is a 25 meter high former radio tower on a hill , which was used by the Society for Sport and Technology (GST) after 1980 .
