New Dachau Gallery

The Neue Galerie Dachau is an art museum opened in Dachau in 1992 . The premises are located in the old town of Dachau in a former factory building on the Amper Canal . The entrance is in an idyllic backyard and is barrier-free.

The gallery exclusively shows contemporary art from the fields of sculpture, installation, painting, photography, video and experimental art.

Exhibitions

The gallery alternately curates at least five exhibitions per year. Among others exhibited here: Siegrun Appelt (2000), Sabine Haubitz and Stefanie Zoche (2001), Jörg Koopmann (2003), Lilo C. Karsten (2004), Christian Jasper and Jochen Pankrath (2019/2020 season). Other artists to be mentioned are: Urs Lüthi , Michael Wesely , Jerry Zenuik , Rudi Tröger , Bodo Buhl , Gerhard Richter and Peter Wüthrich .
