Sabine Haubitz

Sabine Haubitz (born September 4, 1959 in Nördlingen , † March 19, 2014 in Bergün ) was a German artist .

Life

She studied painting and photography from 1984 to 1986 at the Berlin University of the Arts (today: Berlin University of the Arts ) and from 1986 to 1992 at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts . From 1993 to 1996 she was Andreas von Weizsäcker's assistant there .

In 1998 Sabine Haubitz formed an artistic working group with the visual artist Stefanie Zoche in Munich . They positioned themselves under the name Haubitz + Zoche with their photographic and installation work in the international art scene. Sabine Haubitz had a fatal accident on a ski tour in Switzerland in March 2014. Stefanie Zoche continues the work under her own name.
