Siegrun Appelt
Siegrun Appelt (born December 5, 1965 in Bludenz ) is an Austrian artist . She lives and works in Vienna . The photo and media artist has been working for years on the subjects of time and movement and on sharpness / unsharpness relationships that arise from rapid movement.
Life
Siegrun Appelt trained himself in photography, went to Vienna in 1984 and worked with it since 1987. From 1996 onwards she also dealt with moving images . She is a member of the Association of Visual Artists within the Vienna Secession in Austria.
Works (selection)
- 2003: As part of the Loko-Motive project , Appelt and Gerold Tagwerker designed one of five cars for the GKB art train as a contribution to Graz 2003 - European Capital of Culture .
- 2009–2010: with the architect Andrea Konzett, light slit architecture of the sacred space as well as the design of the liturgical places with the material silver fir and brass at and in the pastoral care center Lichtenberg
