Die Neue Sammlung was a quarterly German magazine for education and society that appeared from 1961 to 2005.
It emerged as the successor magazine to the magazine Die Sammlung, which was constituted in 1946, as well as the education . She asked about the importance of political, social and cultural developments for the theory and practice of pedagogy, wanted to make new ideas heard and recall old insights and experiences. The last issue appeared at the end of 2005 with 22 of the most interesting articles that have appeared in the Neue Sammlung's 45 years .
In 1961 Elisabeth Blochmann , Hellmut Becker , Otto Friedrich Bollnow and Martin Wagenschein were among the editors . Elisabeth Heimpel was responsible for the editing. In 1964 Hartmut von Hentig joined the group of editors, in 1986 Hans Christoph Berg and Horst Rumpf , and in 2002 Gerold Becker . Peter Fauser , Manfred Prenzel and Lothar Krappmann left the committee due to the abuse allegations against Becker .
