Neuendorf B is a district of the municipality Spantekow in the district of Vorpommern-Greifswald , Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . Until the end of 2011 Neuendorf B was an independent municipality with the districts Janow and Neuendorf B.
Geography and traffic
Neuendorf B is located on West Pomerania Bundesstrasse 199 . The city of Anklam is about 30 km northeast. The federal motorway 20 can be reached via the Anklam connection (about three kilometers).
history
Neuendorf B was first mentioned in documents as Nyendorf in 1441 . It is an early German foundation as a new village during the east expansion. With the addition of B, it was provided in 1779, but then it was Neuendorf at Janow and only from 1957 Neuendorf B .
Neuendorf B is a street green village with the church in the center, which is surrounded by a walled churchyard. To the west of the village there was a post mill already before 1880 according to MTB.
On January 1, 2012 Neuendorf B was incorporated into Spantekow.
