Neuhausen (from 1972 Neuhausen bei Landshut ) is the name of a former municipality in the Lower Bavarian district of Landshut , which today belongs to the municipality of Weihmichl .

history

The community of Neuhausen, founded by the community edict of 1818, consisted of the districts of Oberneuhausen and Untersteuhausen . In the course of the regional reform in Bavaria , the municipality of Neuhausen was given the new name Neuhausen b. Landshut . On July 1, 1972, the community of Stollnried joined, but on May 1, 1978, at the request of their citizens, the two old communities of Weihmichl and Neuhausen merged to form today's community of Weihmichl.

The name Neuhausen , which summarizes Ober- and Untereuhausen, persists in several associations, including the Neuhausen bypass project .
