Neuhof is a district of the town of Rodalben in the district of Südwestpfalz in Rhineland-Palatinate .

location

Neuhof is located in the southeast of the city in the Graefensteiner Land . The Rodalb forms its northern border.

history

Originally Neuhof belonged to the city of Pirmasens , although it was far away from its center. In 1928 the Neuhof had 72 residents who lived in 13 residential buildings. The Catholics belonged to the parish of Rodalben at the time , while the Protestants belonged to that of Pirmasens.

Due to the fact that it is far from the Pirmasens city center, the place was reclassified on June 7, 1969 to the closer town of Rodalben. At that time Neuhof had a total of 317 residents. This was accompanied by a move to the Pirmasens district, which has been known as the Südwestpfalz district since 1997 .

Transport and infrastructure

There are also a total of two cultural monuments in the form of crossroads; one is on Brunnenstrasse and the other on Neulandstrasse . In addition, the construction of a stop on the Landau – Rohrbach railway line on the northern edge of Neuhof is planned.
