Ninth Norwegian Antarctic Expedition
The Norwegian Antarctic Expedition 1989–1990 (NorAE 1989–1990) was a research trip to the Antarctic funded by the Norwegian Polar Institute . The company with the research ship Andenes , headed by climatologist and glaciologist Olav Orheim (* 1942), primarily served to build the troll station in the Mayr range of Gjelsvikfjella in Queen Maud Land .
