The house Neustädter Kirchhof 2, 3 was a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

It was located in the historic Quedlinburg Neustadt on the northwest side of the Neustädter Kirchhof at the confluence of a lane leading to Pölkenstrasse to the west.

Architecture and history

The half-timbered house had a very wide gable facing south towards the Neustädter Kirchhof . It was a gable-independent double house , which is rare in this form. A similarly designed building existed in Quedlinburg with the house at Kaiserstraße 31, 32 , which, however, was demolished at the beginning of the 21st century.

At least the eastern part of the house, number Neustädter Kirchhof 3, served as a midwifery house .

The semi-detached house was demolished in 1996. Even at the moment (as of 2014) the property is still undeveloped and represents a noticeable gap in the Neustädter Kirchhof, which is characterized by various listed buildings.
