Architecture and history
The two-storey half - timbered house was built around 1600. While the eaves side faces north, the west gable faces Pölkenstrasse. The facade shows the ornaments typical of that time, such as the dew stick and ship throats . A wide dwelling is integrated into the roof . In the 18th century the compartments on the ground floor were provided with decorative brickwork. The windows also date from this period.
The very wide coffered house entrance door from the end of the 18th century in the north facade is remarkable. The door in the gable end dates from the end of the 19th century.
