New Sound Studio

The New Sound Studio is a Swiss music studio . It is located in the municipality of Pfäffikon SZ . The studio specializes in all production steps in a music production, so both the recordings and the mixing and mastering are carried out. The studio is run by Tommy Vetterli , who works there as a music producer and sound engineer . The main clientele consists of metal bands, but the studio is also booked by bands of other genres and for radio advertising and other audio recordings.
history
The studio was founded in 1980 by Peter Hirt. The studio was designed by the renowned acoustician Helmuth Kolbe. In 2005 the Swiss musician Tommy Vetterli von Hirt took over.

The core of the studio is the 80 m² recording room in Studio A. Due to its size, it is also suitable for orchestras and choirs . Integrated into this room are two acoustically separable booths, which enable live recording of different loud instruments in parallel. Studio A also has its own control room. Studio B consists of a smaller recording room and also has its own control room.
In addition, the New Sound Studio also has a lounge with sofas , TV , a game console and a kitchen .
