The New York Naval Militia is the naval unit of the armed forces of the US state New York . It consists of the New York Guard State Guard , the New York Army National Guard, and the New York Air National Guard . The staff of the Naval Militia is from about 2700 members, of which about 95 percent of reservists of the Federal Armed Forces of the United States are.

Your mission is to provide a trained and equipped naval force to assist the New York National Guard with relief operations for civil authorities.

The New York Naval Militia was formed as the Provisional Naval Battalion in 1889 and formally entered service on June 23, 1891 as the First Battalion, Naval Reserve Artillery . It is the only US state naval militia that has existed continuously since the late 19th century.
