Nezir Özer (born June 1, 1983 in Ergani ) is a Turkish football player. Since three of his brothers are also active as football players in professional football, he is known in Turkish football as a member of the Özer Kardeşler (German: Özer Brothers).
Career
Club career
Özer began playing club football in his youth from his hometown club Erganispor and moved to Diyarbakır Büyükşehir Belediyespor with a professional contract . Here he played for three seasons and mostly sat on the bench or was active for the reserve team.
In 2008 he left DiyarbakırBB after the contract expired and hired the fourth division team Pazarspor . He played here for two years and made his breakthrough in his second season with 17 goals this season.
Because of this success, many teams or major leagues became aware of him. In 2010/11, Özer moved to second division Mersin İdman Yurdu . The main reason for this change was the fact that his older brother Şehmus Özer worked for Mersin. In the first half of the season Özer played in three games and was awarded to the third division club Tokatspor for the second half of the season . At the end of the season, Mersin IY had meanwhile achieved the TFF 1st Lig V championship and thus direct promotion to the Süper Lig . Since Özer was not included in the squad planning for the Süper Lig, a change was suggested to him.
So Özer moved to the third division Altay Izmir for the 2011/12 season .
After just one season at Altay, his move to Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor was announced for the 2012/13 season . This change could not take place later, so that Özer played for Altay until the next winter break. During the winter break, he then moved to the fourth division Diyarbakır Büyükşehir Belediyespor. Here he was at the end of the season with his team champion of the TFF 3rd Lig and rose to the TFF 2nd Lig .
After advancing with Diyarbakır BB, he moved to Pazarspor for the 2013/14 season . Here he played one and a half seasons and then returned to Diyarbakır BB. For the 2015/16 season he was then obliged by the second division club Kayserispor . For the second half of this season he was loaned to Aydınspor in 1923 .
