Chin Han
Ng Chin Han , mostly known as Chin Han , ( 黃經漢 / 黄经汉 , Huáng Jīnghàn , born November 27, 1969 in Singapore ) is a Singaporean film and television actor .
He was seen in one of the leading roles in the television film Masters of the Sea . It was the first television production in Singapore to be shot in English. This role there brought him greater prominence in the film industry. In the following years, Han played in various Hollywood films such as 3 Needles and The Dark Knight . In 2009 he was also seen in Roland Emmerichs 2012 . In 2011 he played in Contagion , where he portrayed a Chinese epidemiologist .
In 2018 he was appointed to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences , which awards the Oscars every year.
