Nguyễn Đức Thuận
Nguyễn Đức Thuận (* 1916 in Nam Định Province, † 1985 in Hanoi ) was a functionary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and a Vietnamese writer .
Life
Nguyễn Đức Thuận was born in northern Vietnam. He was an important party and union official. He became famous for his autobiography Bat Khuat , in which he described his imprisonment in South Vietnamese captivity during the Vietnam War . A short excerpt from the book appeared in 1977 in the GDR on German as a short story under the title In the tiger cages of Con Son .
