Niamh O'Sullivan gained her first musical theater experience at the Cork Arts Studio, where she was tutored by Mary Hegarty and encouraged to study classical singing. She then studied singing at the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin with Veronica Dunne. From 2016 to 2018 she was a member of the opera studio of the Bavarian State Opera and took part in concerts and productions of Gian Carlo Menotti's Der Konsul , Ernst Krenek's Der Dictator and Viktor Ullmann's Der zerbelte Krug , as well as in smaller roles in numerous performances in the National Theater Munich . Since January 2019 she has been working with the singing teacher Christiane Iven . As part of the Munich Opera Festival in June / July 2019, she appeared as a soloist in the performance Self-empowerment in the Alte Pinakothek and with Edward Elgar's Sea Pictures at the concert of the Attacca Youth Orchestra of the Bavarian State Opera in the Prinzregententheater .
