Nick & Simon (read: Nick en Simon ) is a Dutch pop duo.
Career
In 2006 the singing duo Nick and Simon formed. They have enjoyed great success in the Netherlands and Belgium since 2006.
Nick & Simon have been jurors on the Dutch version of The Voice Kids since 2012 . Before that, they were part of the jury in The Voice of Holland from 2010 to 2012 .
Their first best-of album was released in 2014 and they released their first album Ein neue Tag in German. On the album are the German versions of some of their Dutch hits. In the same year they went on a promotional tour through Germany and made appearances at the ZDF television garden . Also in 2014 they starred in the film Gooische Vrouwen 2 , which is based on the series Feine Freundinnen by Linda de Mol .
In 2015 they won the 100% NL Awards in the category "Artist of the Year". Also in 2015 they should have their own music show on the Dutch broadcaster SBS with the title "Lekker Nederlands" (in About: Nice in Dutch) .

The band consists of Nick Schilder , who was born on November 6, 1983 in Volendam . He comes from a musical family that produced other well-known musicians, for example Anny Schilder . He met Simon Keizer at school in 2000 at the age of 16 . He was born on May 16, 1984 in Volendam and is the nephew of the BZN singer Jan Keizer . Since then they have been making music together and they got their first record deal in 2006.
