Nico Drmota

Nico Drmota (born May 21, 1979 in Allmendingen ) is a German basketball official .

career

Drmota played basketball at TSG Ehingen from the age of 15 and took on additional management tasks as a player. He was promoted to the 2nd basketball league with Ehingen in 2003 and thus ended his playing career. At that time he was already deputy head of the TSG basketball department.

At first he was the manager of the Ehingen / Urspring syndicate with Rolf Koch , then he was the manager of the second division alone. In addition, after Ralph Junge left  in 2014 , Drmota took over the management of the Urspring Basketball Academy. After the relegation of Ehingen / Ursprings from the 2nd Bundesliga ProA 2015, the team returned  to the second highest division a year later under the direction of coach Domenik Reinboth and manager Drmota. In 2018, the team missed the sporting class, but stayed in the league thanks to Cologne's withdrawal.
