Domenik Reinboth

Domenik Reinboth (born January 10, 1983 ) is a German basketball coach . He has been the head coach of the second division team Ehingen Urspring since 2015 .

career

Reinboth played for Garather SV and switched to TV Bensberg in 2007 when he started studying sports in Cologne. In the 2008/09 season he then took over the coaching position for the men's team of TV Bensberg in the 2nd regional league, he also worked for several years as a coach in the youth division of Bayer Leverkusen and temporarily also for the West German Basketball Association.

In 2012 he moved to Erdgas Ehingen / Urspringschule (later Team Ehingen Urspring) and took over the post of co-trainer of the men's team in the 2. Bundesliga ProA as well as the post of head coach of the U16 boys' team of the Urspring School in youth basketball under head coach Ralph Junge -Bundesliga (JBBL). In 2014 Reinboth became the head coach of our U19 team in the youth basketball league (NBBL).

In 2015 he was promoted to head coach of Ehingen / Ursprings men's team, which had meanwhile been relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga ProB . In his first season (2015/16) Reinboth led the "Steeples" to the ProB championship title and promotion to the second highest division, ProA. After this successful game year, he was voted “Coach of the Season” by fans, coaching colleagues and team captains of the ProB clubs. In the 2017/18 season he and the team missed the sporting class stay in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA, but was able to stay in the league thanks to Cologne's withdrawal.
