Nicolás Gentilio , full name: Nicolás Enrique Gentilio Martínez , (born April 13, 1987 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

The 1.80 meter tall goalkeeper belonged to the first division team Danubios in the early stages of his career . With the Montevideans he succeeded in winning the Uruguayan championship in the 2006/07 season. In August 2009 he moved on loan to Cerro Largo FC , where he was a total of six times in the Primera División this season . After the end of the loan period he returned to Montevideo and joined league rivals Bella Vista in July 2010 . There he completed 27 first division games in the two following seasons and also ran twice in the competition for the Copa Sudamericana . In August 2012, he moved to El Tanque Sisley . There he held the position of reserve goalkeeper behind regular goalkeeper Nicola Pérez in the 2012/13 season and only made his first division debut for El Tanque Sisley on the last day of the match in the 4-4 ending match against Juventud on June 2, 2013 . His move to Rentistas was announced for the 2013/14 season . In the second half of August 2013 he moved on to the second division Progreso , for whom he played twelve league games. In January 2014 he joined the first division racing team. There he was not used in the league that season. He was used five times in the 2014/15 season. In the 2015/16 season, he did not play a first division game. At the end of July 2016, he moved to the second division club Atlético Torque .
