Nicolás Nicolay , full name Nicolás Andrés Nicolay Aznárez , (born October 9, 1979 or September 10, 1979 in General Pico , Argentina ) is an Argentine football player .

Career

The 1.75 meter tall offensive player Nicolay started his career in 1998 with CA Banfield . About Huracán Buceo in 1999 and Cruz Azul Hidalgo in 2000, his path led to the Uruguayan second division club Colón FC , for whom he played from 2001 to 2002 and scored five goals in 14 second division appearances in the 2002 season. In the 2003 season he played 14 first division games for Villa Española and scored 15 times in the opposing goal. In 2004 there was a station at Huracán de Tres Arroyos as well as at Plaza Colonia in the Clausura. From 2005 up to and including the Apertura 2006 he was active with the Rampla Juniors in Montevideo . In the Clausura 2007 and in the 2009/10 season he was a player for Tacuarembó FC for the first time . For the Northern Uruguayans he ran 13 times in the Primera División in the latter season and scored two goals. In September 2010 he moved to Central Español . For the Montevideo-based club, he completed ten first division games in 2010/11 and scored one goal. In January 2011 he returned to Argentina and played there from then on for the Club Ferro Carril Oeste . In September 2013 he switched to the General Paz Juniors , in whose ranks he was until the end of January 2014. He then signed again with Tacuarembó FC, which is now in the second division. He was in the 2013/14 season with the team champion of the Segunda División and contributed with ten second division appearances and two goals. In the 2014/15 season he was used five times (no goal) - most recently on November 5, 2014 - in the Primera División . He has been playing for Argentine club Deportivo Argentino since at least October 2015 .
