Nicolás Vigneri , full name Nicolás Ignacio Vigneri Cetrullo , (born July 6, 1983 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.78-meter-tall offensive player Vigneri was at the beginning of his career from the Apertura 2003 to the Apertura 2005 under contract with the then first division club Centro Atlético Fénix . In the 2003 season there are 30 appearances (nine goals) in the Primera División for him. He then moved to Club Atlético Peñarol within Montevideo . From the Clausura 2006 up to and including the Apertura 2007 the “Aurinegros” scored 19 goals in 55 first division appearances for Vigneri. From 2008 to January 2009 he was under contract with CD Cruz Azul in Mexico . He scored one goal for the Mexicans in the 2007/08 season and scored four times in 22 season appearances in the 2008/09 season. He has also recorded five games and three goals in the Liga Campeones . In the first half of 2009 he was then in Argentina with the Racing Club de Avellaneda under contract and played four games (no goal) in the Primera División . From July 2009 to January 2010 he was active again in Mexico and scored four times for Puebla FC in 17 first division appearances . In late January 2010 he joined the Spanish club Deportivo Xerez . He stayed on the Iberian Peninsula until August 2010 , but without having played a competitive game. Returned to Uruguay, he was in 13 top division games in the 2010/11 season for Fénix and scored four goals. In February 2011 he signed with league rivals Nacional Montevideo . At the “Bolsos” he contributed to the championship win of that season with five first division appearances (no goal) and also played two matches (no goal) of the Copa Libertadores as part of this loan engagement . Fénix awarded him again in August 2011. Vigneri's goal this time was the Ecuadorian club CS Emelec . 21 league games and five goals was his record when he left the first division team in July 2012. In addition, he had played two games (one goal) in the Copa Sudamericana and three games (no goal) in the Copa Libertadores for the Ecuadorians at international level . In the 2012/13 season he ran in 13 games in the Primera División for Fénix. He got a hit. From late July 2013 to early January 2014 he played for Deportivo Quevedo . There are 15 league appearances in Ecuador's Primera A without a personal goal. In the first half of 2014, the Peruvian club Los Caimanes was his employer. However, he was only set up in two first division games (no goal). At the beginning of August 2014 he moved from Los Caimanes to the first division promoted Rampla Juniors . In the Apertura 2014 he was used eight times (no goal) in the top Uruguayan league. At the beginning of February 2015 he moved to the second division club Huracán FC and played 13 second division games there until June 2015, in which he scored five times in the opposing goal. From June 11, 2015, he continued his career in Mexico with Murciélagos FC . With the Mexicans he was used 29 times (five goals) in Primera A and in six games (one goal) of the Copa México . In mid-July 2016, he switched to CS Cartaginés on loan . With the Costa Ricans he was used eight times in the league and scored one goal. In early 2017, Vigneri returned to Murciélagos. So far (as of January 22, 2017) he has played two more league games there (no goal).

National team

Vigneri completed three international matches under coach Juan Ramón Carrasco in Uruguay's U-23 team - the Olympic selection - when he lost 3-0 against Chile on January 7, 2004, in a 1-1 draw on January 11 2004 against Brazil (one goal) and in the 1: 2 defeat against Paraguay on January 15, 2004 in the pre-Olympic South American U-23 qualification tournament . He scored one goal.

Vigneri was also a member of the Uruguayan senior team . He made his debut on July 24, 2003 under national coach Juan Ramón Carrasco when he came on in the 60th minute for Diego Perrone in the 4-3 away win in the friendly international match against Peru and marked the winning goal. This was followed by three more international appearances until it was provisionally set up for the last time on October 15, 2003. It was only after a long break that he completed his fifth international match on May 27, 2006 under the now responsible national coach Óscar Tabárez . His last international match was on March 24, 2007 against South Korea. He played a total of nine international matches and scored two goals.
