Nicolae Gaiduc (born July 23, 1996 in Ungheni ) is a Moldovan biathlete and cross-country skier .
Nicolae Gaiduc starts for Clubul Sportiv Central "Dinamo" Chişinău . He made his international debut in biathlon at the junior races of the European Championships 2012 in Osrblie , where he was 61st in the individual and 66th in the sprint. A year later he started in Obertilliach for the first time at the Junior World Championships 2013 , where he was 103rd in the individual and 93rd in the sprint. At the 2013 European Championships in Bansko , Gaiduc started with the men for the first time. As 55th of the sprint, he qualified for the pursuit race, which he did not contest.
In cross-country skiing, Gaiduc has competed in international junior races since 2011, in the Balkan Cup since 2012 and in FIS races since 2013 . The highlight should be the participation in the Nordic World Ski Championships 2013 , where he did not take part in the sprint qualification.
Gaiduc was the flag bearer of the Moldovan team at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang .
