Nicolai Johansson (born August 14, 1989 in Weingarten ) is a German ice hockey goalkeeper who has played in the Bayern League for the Lindau Islanders since 2011 .

Career

Nicolai Johansson began playing ice hockey at EV Ravensburg in 1993. Before he could gain a foothold in senior ice hockey, he played in various teams in his youth and junior years. At the age of 17 he played three games for the 1st team of IF Björklöven. At the age of 19 he played again in his hometown club EV Ravensburg and made his debut in the 2nd Bundesliga on January 2, 2011 for its professional team Ravensburg Towerstars in a 3-1 away win at ETC Crimmitschau . In the same season, the Towerstars won the championship title of the 2nd Bundesliga. In the 2011/2012 season he moved to EV Lindau from the Bavarian Ice Hockey League.
