Nicolai Stokholm (born April 1, 1976 in Regstrup, Holbæk Kommune ) is a Danish football player . He is currently under contract with FC Nordsjælland .
Career
society
Stokholm started his career in 1996 at Holbæk B&I . From there he moved in 1998 to what was then the first division club AB Copenhagen . In his first season for the Gladsaxe club , he made 22 games and scored one goal. With AB Nicolai Stokholm won in his first season after a 2-1 final win against Aalborg BK at the same time the Danish cup competition . In the 1999/2000 season Stokholm made 30 games and finished third with AB Copenhagen. In the following season he extended his contract to 2004 and was used in 24 games, in which he scored five goals. A year later, around the same time, Nicolai Stokholm had 30 appearances in the 1999/2000 season, unlike back then with three goals. In the following season Nicolai Stokholm had one more use and five assists in terms of league appearances. For the 2003/04 season Stokholm went to Odense BK . Stokholm made 27 league appearances and three goals in his first season in Odense. In the following season Stokholm was used in 31 games (four hits). In the 2005/06 season , Stokholm also played 29 times and scored three goals.
In the summer, Stokholm moved abroad. He signed with the Norwegian first division club Viking Stavanger . In Stavanger he quickly gained a regular place. In the second half of the Tippeligaen season , which runs in spring / autumn mode, he made 14 appearances, where he scored two goals. In the 2007 season , his first full season, he came on 24 missions and scored four goals. The following season he came back to 24 missions. This time he got five hits.
During the winter break of the 2008/09 season, Stokholm returned to Denmark. He signed with FC Nordsjælland . In the second half of the season he came only to three missions, where he played over 90 minutes in all games. In his first full season , Nicolai Stokholm played in 30 games and scored two goals. He also won the Danish cup competition again in the same season. Nicolai Stokholm scored the 1-0 goal in the 2-0 final win against FC Midtjylland . In the following season Stokholm played 25 times. He got four goals. In addition, the title could be defended in the "Landspokalturneringen", again by a final victory over the FCM. Another twelve months later , the Danish championship title was won.
