Nicolas Maure

Nicolas Maure (born April 22, 1960 in Orléans ) is a French engineer and manager and has been CEO of the AwtoWAS vehicle brand Lada since 2016 .

Life

Maure first studied at the École Centrale Paris (ECP) and then completed an MBA at the Institut Europeen d'Administration des Affaires (INSEAD).

Act

He started at Valeo and Faurecia and moved to Renault in 2000 as Head of Purchasing in the Parts and Accessories division . In March 2003 he became Director of the Renault Quality Plan and in September 2004 General Manager of the Société de Transmissions Automatiques. From September 2006 to August 2008, Maure was director of Uzina Mecanică Dacia in Romania. He was then appointed Vice President of Powertrain at Renault-Nissan Purchasing Organization and in March 2013 VP of Groupe Renault Manufacturing Performance. In January 2014 he was appointed Managing Director of Groupe Renault Romania and CEO of Automobile Dacia .

In April 2016, he succeeded Bo Andersson as President and CEO of AwtoWAS. In February 2018, the Reuters news agency reported , based on information from the LADA shareholders, about Maures possible replacement.
