Nicolaus Freiherr von Krufft

Nicolaus Freiherr von Krufft (born February 1, 1779 in Vienna ; † April 16, 1818 ibid) was Metternich's employee at the secret court and state chancellery (from 1801) and composer. Before that he studied philosophy between 1794 and 1797 and law until 1800 at the University of Vienna. He was Albrechtsberger's student of composition . From Krufft accompanied Metternich in 1815 on a trip to Paris and in 1817 by Italy and in the Styria .
