Nicole Frenkel (born April 29, 1998 ) is an American tennis player .
Career
In 2010, Frenkel won the Orange Bowl for children under 12. She primarily plays in tournaments on the ITF Women's Circuit . In 2014 she reached the finals in October at the $ 10,000 tournament in Pereira , where she lost to Chilean Andrea Koch-Benvenuto 6: 7 1 and 2: 6. In 2015 she was able to advance to the round of 16 at the $ 50,000 tournament in Charlottesville , where she lost 3: 6 and 0: 6 to her compatriot Katerina Stewart . She celebrated her greatest success so far by reaching the quarter-finals at the ITF tournament in Lexington , also endowed with $ 50,000, in July 2015 , where she lost 3: 6 and 1: 6 to the Japanese Nao Hibino .
In the U18 world rankings, Frenkel is currently 15th. In the WTA world rankings , she reached her highest individual position in September 2015 with 419th place.
