Nicole Grindle

Nicole Paradis Grindle (* before 1983 in Washington, DC ) is an American film producer .

Life

Grindle grew up in Washington, DC. First started at the University of Pennsylvania an undergraduate -Studies of bioengineering and eventually graduated to 1983 Comparative Literature . During her studies, she played theater and attended a summer school in film at New York University . From 1985 to 1987, Grindle finally completed a master's degree in documentary film production at Stanford University .

After completing her studies, Grindle worked on the film Wrong Game with Roger Rabbit as a production assistant at Industrial Light & Magic and was a producer at Colossal Pictures from 1988 to 1995. During this time she was already working with Pixar and finally joined Pixar in 1995. Her first film was the animated film Das große Krabbeln , released in 1998 , followed by other films such as Toy Story 3 and The Monster University . As the producer of the short film Sanjay's Super Team by Sanjay Patel , Grindle was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Animated Short Film in 2016 .

In 2018 she was appointed to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences , which awards the Oscars every year.

Grindle is married with two children. She lives in San Francisco .
