Nicotiana sect. Trigonophyllae is a section of the genus tobacco ( Nicotiana ). There are two types of it .
description
The types of section Trigonophyllae are annual or short-term perennial herbaceous plants . The leaves are sessile, spatulate and sticky hairy. The upper stem leaves encircle the stem.
The flowers open during the day. The crown is radially symmetrical, tubular and salver-plate-shaped and greenish white in color.
The number of chromosomes is n = 12.
distribution
The species are common in the southwestern United States and Mexico .
