The house at Niedergasse 25 is a listed residential building in Stolberg (Harz) in the municipality of Südharz in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the northern part of Niedergasse on its eastern side in the old town of Stolberg. The free space in front of the Georgenhospital extends to the south. The building represents the top of the row of buildings on the east side of Niedergasse, which has been preserved as a closed structure.

Architecture and history

The two-storey baroque half-timbered house was probably built in the 17th century. A renovation took place in the 19th century, with a shop with two shop windows being installed on the ground floor. At the same time, an extension was built on the back.

Currently (as of 2017) there is a lottery shop and kiosk on the ground floor .

In the local monument register , the house has been listed as a monument since August 30, 2000 under the registration number 094 30278 . The residential building is considered to be culturally, artistically and urbanistically significant.
