Since 1464 the Gruenbeck are given as owners of the Hofmark Niederhausen, which they owned until the end of the 16th century. In the 17th century the property was in the hands of the Gruber. The municipality of the same name emerged from the Niederhausen tax district with the municipal edict of 1818, which belonged to the Landau district court and later to the Landau an der Isar district . In the course of the regional reform , the majority of the Niederhausen community with 321 inhabitants and an area was incorporated into the Reisbach market on July 1, 1972 (= district part 0, district part 1 belongs to Simbach bei Landau ).
