Dutch Ice Hockey Cup 2019/20
The Dutch Ice Hockey Cup was held for the 50th time in the 2019/20 season. The competition is organized by IJshockey Nederland under the name IJNL bekercompetitie . The winners were the Heerenveen Flyers , who won the trophy for the 13th time in their history. In the final, they defeated last year's winner Nijmegen Devils .
Participant and mode
The six Dutch participants of the BeNeLeague 2019/20 , the joint highest ice hockey league in the Netherlands and Belgium, took part in the competition. The teams played a preliminary round each against each other. This started on September 27, 2019 and ended on November 9, 2019, largely before the start of the BeNeLeague season on November 2, 2019. The first four qualified for the semi-finals, which were played in two legs. The final took place on January 15, 2020 at the IJssportcentrum Eindhoven .
