Niedermauk is a district of Röttenbach in the Central Franconian district of Roth .

Geographical location

The village is 1.5 kilometers northwest of Röttenbach on the Swabian Rezat . The Maukbach also flows through it and flows north into the Swabian Rezat. The next larger city is Roth, about ten kilometers away .

Infrastructure

Niedermauk is also known for its St. Sebastian Church, which dates back to the Middle Ages . There is also a large village pond, a rock cellar and a ford through the Maukbach.

The Treuchtlingen – Nürnberg railway line runs 500 m west of the village. There are train stations in Mühlstetten and Georgensgmünd . A communal road leads to Röttenbach and State Road St 2224 .
