Oberbreitenlohe is a district of Röttenbach in the Central Franconian district of Roth .
The village is 3 kilometers west of Röttenbach. The next larger city is Roth, about 11 kilometers away .
The former district of Mühlstetten was incorporated into Röttenbach as part of the Bavarian territorial reform in 1971.
The Treuchtlingen – Nuremberg railway line passes the village about 1 km away. The train stations are in Mühlstetten and Georgensgmünd . A communal road leads to Mühlstetten and State Road 2223 .
