The Lower Saxony Education Server ( NIBIS for short , NiBiS ) is the central education portal of the school system in Lower Saxony . The education server is operated by the Lower Saxony State Institute for School Quality Development (NLQ).

The education server offers storage space for schools and other educational institutions that can be used for school websites and can be used free of charge for "smaller websites". A ready-made WordPress template for a “modern school website” is provided for these websites .
