Niegowo ( German Nobel ) is a district of Gdansk in the Orunia-Św district. Wojciech-Lipce .
history
In 1555 the place was founded as Constantinople by the Gdańsk mayor Constantin Ferber , on an area that had been made unusable by the neighboring cities of Thorn and Elbing shortly before through a breach of a Vistula arm. The estate remained in the possession of the Ferber family and had eleven culmic hooves.
In 1807 it was assigned to the Republic of Danzig . In 1818 Nobel came to the Prussian district of Danzig and with this in 1871 to Germany . In 1887 Nobel moved to the Danziger Höhe district and with this came to the Free State of Danzig in 1920 .
In 1951 the place was renamed Niegowo , since 1954 it has been incorporated into Danzig.
