The Nigadoo River is a 21 km long tributary of the Gulf of St. Lawrence in the Canadian province of New Brunswick .

River course

The Nigadoo River runs in northwest Gloucester County . It arises at the confluence of its two headwaters , North Branch and South Branch Nigadoo River , in the extreme southeast of the Jacquet River Gorge nature reserve . It flows mainly in an easterly direction to Chaleur Bay and flows into Nigadoo , a village , 15 km north-northwest of the city of Bathurst .

Hydrology

The Nigadoo River drains an area of ​​about 155 km². The mean discharge 11.5 km above the mouth is 2.65 m³ / s. In April and May the river carries the largest amount of water with an average of 8.88 and 9.31 m³ / s.
