Nigel Kinney (born April 22, 1985 ) is an American biathlete .

Nigel Kinney launches Vermont National Guard . He contested his first international races as part of the Biathlon Junior World Championships 2006 in Presque Isle , where he was 50th of the individual, 51st of the sprint, 49th of the pursuit and eleventh with the relay. This was followed by participation in the junior races of the Biathlon European Championships 2006 in Langdorf , where Kinney was 61st in the individual and 72nd in the sprint.

Kinney has contested international races since the 2007/08 season . In the Europe / IBU Cup he entered his first race in Forni Avoltri in 2007 , where he finished 82nd in the sprint and ninth with a nationally mixed relay. In the Biathlon-NorAm-Cup of the season he reached fifth place overall, in 2008/09 he was 12th, 2009/10 eleventh. The first international men's championship was the North American Biathlon Championships 2009 in Valcartier . Together with Jon Skinstad , Kinney took 21st place in the sprint and was eighth in the mixed relay competition with Sara Studebaker and Blake Hillerson in the US season 5 .
