North American Championships in Biathlon 2009

The North American Biathlon Championships 2009 were held from March 26th to 29th of that year in Valcartier , Canada . It was also the Canadian championships and the final of the Biathlon NorAm Cup 2008/09 .

At the start there were 15 mixed relays, which consisted of either two men and one woman, or two women and one man. There were also two seasons ( composite ) that ran out of competition and were purely male seasons . The US relays dominated the competition as much as possible, as they were composed according to performance criteria compared to the teams, which were divided into provinces and territories due to the Canadian championships taking place at the same time. In the juniors, the squadron won USA 1 in the cast Leif Nordgren , Grace Boutot and Wynn Roberts from the Canadian squadrons British Columbia one in the cast Matt and Aaron Neumann and Megan Tandy and Quebec 1 with Guillaume Carrier, Angela Salvi and Édouard Côté . The youth race was won by the Canadian Alberta 1 relay with Kurtis Wenzel , Tana Chesham and Scott Gow .
