Marty Smith (born June 7, 1987 ) is an American biathlete .
Marty Smith from Steamboat Springs has been running biathlon since 2005, and in 2008 the athlete from the Steamboat Springs Winter Sport Club was promoted to the US national team's development team. In the 2008/09 season he also celebrated his greatest successes. In the NorAm-Cup he finished sixth overall, at the North American Biathlon Championships 2009 in Valcartier he was 26th in the individual, 23rd in the sprint and tenth with Eli Walker and Carolyn Bramante in his mixed relay. At the North American Championships in Summer Biathlon 2009 later in the year in Jericho , he came 14th in the sprint and 13th in the pursuit race.
