Haley Johnson (born December 8, 1981 ) is a former American biathlete .

Haley Johnson started for the Lake Placid Ski Club . The former student of the National Sports Academy , Bates College and the University of Maine was coached by Per Nilsson and Patrick Coffey. In 2005 she started for the first time in races as part of the Biathlon European Cup . In the singles of Garmisch-Partenkirchen Johnson was 26th. The best result was a ninth place in a pursuit race in Gurnigel that same year . With the relay, she made fifth place twice. In Östersund , Johnson took part in the 2008 Biathlon World Championships and started there in four races. In the individual she was 78th, 53rd in the sprint and 52nd in the pursuit race. With the women's relay, which also included Tracy Barnes , Lanny Barnes and Caitlin Compton , she reached 18th place. She then started several times in the 2007/2008 Biathlon World Cup and achieved results between 50 and 60th. Two races in North America -Cups she won in the season. In the 2008/09 season Johnson and Laura Spector form the US team A and start in the World Cup. At the Biathlon World Championships in 2009 she finished 23rd in the individual race. Her first best World Cup result was achieved by Haley Johnson in the 2009/2010 season when she finished 21st in the individual race in Pokljuka . Haley Johnson participated in the 2010 Winter Olympics. Her best result was 66th place in the individual. With the relay she finished 17th. She was also able to record successes in North America during the season. In the sprint of the North American Championships in Biathlon 2010 in Fort Kent , she won the bronze medal behind Tracy Barnes-Coliander and the Canadian Claude Godbout . At the same time taking place US championships she was, since Godbout was not rated here, second. In the pursuit and in the mass start, she was fifth in the North American Championships, fourth in the US Championships. After starting the 2010/2011 season again with rather moderate performances, she reached 21st place in the pursuit and 22nd place in the sprint at the end of winter in Oslo . After the 2010/2011 season, Johnson announced her resignation.
