Robert Duncan Douglas (born November 22, 1965 in New York City ) is an American biathlete .

Duncan Douglas is a student and lives in Lake Placid . He began biathlon in 1987 and first took part in a major event at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville . In singles he was 59th, 55th in the sprint and together with Jon Engen , Josh Thompson and Curt Schreiner 13th in the relay competition. The best result in the Biathlon World Cup was a 44th place in a sprint from Östersund in 1993 . In 1994 he again took part in the Olympic Games. In Lillehammer he was 65th in the sprint and together with Engen, Schreiner and Dave Jareckie 14th with the relay. Between 1995 and 2003 he did not take part in any international competitions. He came back as a starter at the military world championships in biathlon in 2004 and was 44th in cross-country skiing, 66th in sprint and together with Michael Brothers, Jacob Beste and Jeremy Teela reached 22nd place in the military patrol run. The next major event was the 2006 European Biathlon Championships in Langdorf with 67th place in the individual as the best result.

Douglas achieved multiple successes at the national and North American levels. In the Biathlon NorAm Cup , for example, he won two races in the 2007/08 season and one race in the 2008/09 season . In the overall standings in 2008 he was ninth, in 2009 sixth. At the North American Biathlon Championships in Itasca in 2008 , Douglas won the bronze medal in the mass start race.
