Philip Eriksson is a Canadian biathlete .
Philip Eriksson studies at the University of Alberta and starts for the university sports team CSC / Augustana . In 2007 he was elected athlete of the year at the university for his services in four sports, in addition to biathlon and cross-country skiing, cross-country skiing and curling . He made his international debut at the Winter Universiade 2007 in Turin . At the races of Cesana San Sicario he finished 46th in the sprint, was disqualified in the individual and was fifth in the relay race. At the provincial championships in 2008 he won gold and bronze.
Eriksson started with the men in 2008. He achieved his first success at the North American Championships in the summer biathlon in 2008 , when he won the pursuit title at the cross-country competitions in Canmore from Aaron Scott and Ian Beales . In the Nor-Am-Cup 2008/09 he was 25th overall. At the North American Championships in Biathlon 2009 in Valcartier , he reached 24th place in the individual and 25th in the sprint.
