Nika von Altenstadt (born August 8, 1965 in Munich ; real name is Nicola Schmidt von Altenstadt ) is a German actress and screenwriter .

Life

After training to be an actor in Cologne, von Altenstadt attended the mime school École Internationale de Minodrame by Marcel Marceau in Paris . She then played theater for years in Cologne , Munich, Münster and Bonn and was involved in various radio productions.

Her film career began in 1992 with a leading role in the low-budget film Krautboys - the only true Al Gringo story by filmmaker Hansjörg Thurn . From 1994 to 1998 she played the role of "Sonia Besirsky" in the ARD series Lindenstrasse . This was followed by other appearances in television series such as Die Kommissarin , Schimanski and Alles Atze . As a screenwriter, she worked, among other things, for the movie Barfuss , directed by Til Schweiger . In March 2020 she made another guest appearance in Lindenstrasse.
